We try so hard sometimes to be something that you believe someone else wants you to be. We say yes to family dinners when you don't really want to go. We agree to do things we don't really want to do. We show up as a version of ourselves that is inauthentic and as a result, it creates a lot of unhappiness and negative emotions for us. The problem with all of thihs is that no matter how hard you try to be who you thhink they want you to be "they" still can't see it. They can and will only see what they want to see, who they perceive you to be. So if they can't see who you're trying to be anyway, why no be the version of you that you want to be?
